Wow! This image really "pops". Talk about fabulous colours. The reds and oranges with the blue sky is very striking. The composition works well with the featured rock formations being prominent in the foreground; but the eye is still led to the background, which adds depth and contrast. The lines and textures in the photo also draw the eye and make for added interest - the landscape is wonderful, but the detail is also superb. Another feature is the contrast between the foreground light and the dark backdrop - very effective. Personally, I think this is an unusual and eye-catching landscape image, beautifully worked!
