Naturally, taken in Yosemite National Park. While I did venture into the water (for a long enough period that my feet were entirely numb. . . the water is incredibly cold), the composition actually felt better here. This is actually a four-image composite, resulting in roughly 110Mp. The effective focal length of a 24mm lens on a 645 is roughly 13.8 degrees; this is four, stitched. . . resulting in a parallax-free, sub-10mm image in 35mm terms.

Uploaded is a 1920px version of the image. If you like it, feel free to use it as a desktop wallpaper.

Technical details:

Leaf Aptus-II 12
Canon 24mm TSE II; 2 degrees tilt, -12 to +12 horizontal shift
Hartblei H-Cam B1

I love the yellows and browns in this. Without the standard epic light from the millions of shots from this location, it makes this particular image stand out nicely! I am going to Yosemite at the end of April with my lady so this makes a great background for me! Thanks for sharing. :)
