Hah! No, not retired. I do get about two solid months off per year, however, which enables me to do a lot of backpacking/traveling.

Indeed, while I'm largely unavailable most of the year, when I do get time off, I have the time and money to actually do something with it. Unfortunately, I have few friends with whom I can share this independence and freedom.

Definitely. Though, Utah's probably not going to capture much of my attention over the next couple of years. I'm planning to spend most of my free time between California, Iceland, the Pacific Northwest, Canada, and Montana. Possibly Chile/Argentina. That said, if I do make it to the desert, I'll let you know.
