North Coyote Buttes. I know I have about a million of these posted. I know repetition is, obviously, not overly interesting. Can't do much about it.

Maybe I'll get around to posting a few more of Iraq sooner or later.

I never get sick of seeing these shots! There are always tons of interesting and different details in the rock, and besides, they are quite beautiful.

this is almost surreal. it perfectly captures the essence of what the world is; a body that connects us, that always surprises us, that forms miracles in the most subtle way. great job.

You may have millions of these posted, but this one at least look good. I love the lines in the grounds and the strata displayed at the surface. The lines there are very graphic and lead the eye into the kind of canyon on the left side ;)

Uh, thanks? Yeah, I have a lot of pictures from the place. Most of them look good, despite being repetitive. I'm a little restricted on what I can really take pictures of, anymore.

This is one of the best photos of this area I've seen...and there have been a ton (it is a fascinatingly photogenic place, after all)...mostly due to the fact that it isn't trying to show the stone on its own as an abstract. Instead, I appreciate that there is depth in this one, a background view behind the stone. It puts the curves into perspective as a part of a bigger landscape. Not least important, though, is that vibrant blue sky that offers a gorgeous contrast to the orange. :+fav:
