When I first saw this, I thought to myself 'Digital Art' and wondered why the artist had posted it under 'Photography / Nature' but then I saw the artist's comment. I guess Nature is the best artist around.

It has been wonderfully shot, and I love the colors, or the lack of them. The battle amongst the clouds is brought to fore by the use of black and white. The stark contrast of the bare rock and the dense growth of shrubs just opposite to it has been wonderfully captured by the photographer.

In totality a wonderful photograph, one that will make me wonder every time I see it.

Hah, yeah, I kind of suck about this. I take so many pictures, and have so little time, I don't get around to posting them for. . .well, almost a year later. It's good, in a way, though, as it makes it possible for me to keep posting "different" looking imagery.

yeah, same problem here. as the weather is really nice these days i'm going on short bike trips including shooting photos as well several times a month. the images are getting more and more and the time is becoming less and less :P
