 --  Thank you. I felt somewhat proud of myself, actually, for this picture, specifically. It turned out exactly as I had in mind, which is not often the case.
-- [link] You win some and you lose some. In the end of the day it basically comes down to luck and the conditions at the time.
-- [link] I completely agree with you. It's such a hit-or-miss thing. Once it's in your computer, then, and only then, can you see that you just *barely* missed the composition, or the depth-of-field is crap. Or that you have minor flares shooting across the whole screen.
-- [link] It's always good to know a location and composition so that you only have to worry about lighting and technique. Something I'm focusing more on now'a days.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
